Senior Clinical Research Nurse

The University of Kansas Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join its esteemed Huntington Disease Research Team. This dynamic role is responsible for identifying potential study participants, approaching them to obtain consent in accordance with IRB Office requirements, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to align clinical and research activities.
As a key member of the research team, you will oversee grant expenditures, manage research initiatives, and provide ongoing training to staff regarding Huntington's disease-related research protocols. Your expertise in information technology applications, workflow management, and communication skills will be invaluable in ensuring seamless execution of research projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in basic science or health-related field, with 2 years of relevant experience. A Master's degree or background in Neurology is preferred. The successful candidate will be able to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and administrative staff, as well as demonstrate excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills.
