- Accredited by the Joint Commission
- Delivering personal care and hygiene assistance as required, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, undressing, toileting, and assisting with health measurements when necessary.
- Supporting clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, meal preparation, changing linens, light housekeeping, and providing transportation for medical appointments, recreational activities, and shopping.
- Assisting clients with mobility exercises as outlined in their care plan, while documenting any observed changes to the Director of Nursing.
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide Program.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current CPR certification, negative TB skin test or chest x-ray, and updated physical examination.
- Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Physical assistance varies based on client mobility, with the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
