Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate I to join our production team at WuXi AppTec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aseptic Technique and Quality Control
    • Apply aseptic technique concepts to ensure a safe and controlled environment.
    • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Material Preparation and Management
    • Prepare solutions and materials according to established protocols.
    • Receive and organize materials, identifying and communicating any discrepancies.
  • Technical Support and Collaboration
    • Participate in technical transfer activities and assist with the execution of validation activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations.
  • Documentation and Compliance
    • Collect and record scientific and process data according to good document practices.
    • Execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BRs) with precision and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High School diploma and over 2 years of relevant experience, or
    • Associates'/Bachelor's (science preferred) degree with 0-2 years of relevant or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to accurately and reproducibly perform arithmetic calculations, including fractions, decimals, and percentages, and basic algebraic and geometric calculations.
    • Clarity of vision at near and mid-ranges (less than 20 feet), depth perception, and ability to identify and distinguish colors.
    • Ability to wear appropriate clean room attire and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
    • Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and understand English.
    • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) applications.
Working Environment

Work in a production environment with exposure to latex, bleach, noise, equipment hazards, and strong odors.
