Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Production Staff: Lead and motivate a team of production employees to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Manage Production Processes: Oversee the planning, execution, and control of production activities to meet customer demands and company objectives.
  • Improve Efficiency and Productivity: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and ensure that all products meet quality standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and supplies to support production activities.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and operations.
  • 3+ Years of Supervisory Experience: Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in supervising and managing production staff.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic Mechanical Aptitude: Familiarity with mechanical systems and processes, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Education and Certifications

An associate degree in manufacturing, management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, are also desirable.
