Educational PhilosophyOur program is designed to address the needs of the whole child. Activities are intentionally planned to promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. We focus on the learning process during these activities rather than the final outcome, fostering high self-esteem in each child. Every child is embraced for their unique qualities and current developmental stage.
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Associate Degree with a minimum of 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education (15+ ECE credits preferred) or 30 college credit hours including 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education or CDA certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Effective classroom management abilities.
- Capability to collaborate in a co-teaching environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to sit on the floor for extended periods.
- Ability to stand for more than two hours at a time.
- Ability to walk several miles as needed.
