Job Summary:The Blender Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality blends at Schreiber Foods. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can safely and effectively operate blending equipment, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Operations: Verify label information, load ingredients into the blender according to specifications, and ensure that production lines meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain blending equipment, parts, tools, and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
  • Quality Control: Identify and address any quality control issues, including product shrink and downtime, and take corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete all required paperwork and transactions, including batch entry logs, cleaning forms, room logs, and work orders.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.

Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Certifications: Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification, as well as Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certification.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
