Job Overview

Cecilia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Attendant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dishroom, restaurant, and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, run, and unload the dish machine to ensure efficient and sanitary wash cycles.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the dish machine, sinks, and surrounding areas.
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware to prevent breakage and loss.
  • Properly label, replenish, and store chemicals to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with basic food preparation according to the checklist and prep sheets.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Requirements
  • No previous restaurant experience required.
  • Ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods.
  • Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
