About the Role

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at AdventHealth, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by using ultrasound technology to locate, evaluate, and record anatomical, pathological, and functional data. This data will aid physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical imaging procedures on all patient age groups, demonstrating proficiency and ability to teach the same.
  • Provide imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of age, race, or sex.
  • Maintain the highest standard of patient care, ensuring the highest quality of images and patient satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as IDX, Radworks, and Current PACS application.
  • Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain responsibility for all continuing and annual education.
  • Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures.
Preferred Qualifications

Satisfactory completion of an approved medical sonography program and registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers are highly desirable.
