Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Detox Nurse to join our team at Maryhaven Addiction Stabilization Center (MASC). As a Detox Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care and developing creative treatment plans for adults dealing with mental illnesses and/or substance abuse issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nursing assessments and monitor the health status of clients throughout their stay.
  • Administer medications and medical treatment as ordered by a licensed physician.
  • Maintain client safety and confidentiality.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on addiction recovery and mental health topics.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, completing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in AOD and/or psychiatric nursing, with a preference for medical nursing experience.
  • Certification in CPR and CARN (Certified Addiction Registered Nurse) preferred.
