Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based applications and infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with our development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the platform that is crucial to our daily operations
  • Oversee infrastructure and application monitoring/support, manage service level agreements, and implement automation
  • Manage and provide oversight on application issues, identify root cause, and ensure timely resolution
  • Manage incident response, including investigation, resolution, communication, and escalation as required
  • Ensure application site reliability
  • Provide guidance to immediate team members on daily tasks and activities
  • Manage dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
  • Manage client and technology stakeholder relationships required for smooth operations of the platform

Requirements

  • Strong technical and functional experience in the industry
  • 5-7 years of hands-on SRE/DevOps experience
  • 3+ years experience in SRE/DevOps team for cloud-based application(s)
  • Experienced with AWS and AWS services like ECS, RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElastiCache Redis, S3, Key Management Services (KMS), Lambda, CloudWatch, Application Load Balancer, Route53, API Gateway
  • Experienced in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) by using Terraform and configuration management tool Chef Cookbook
  • Experienced in building and maintaining Jenkins Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Jenkins shared libraries
  • Experienced with Log Analytics tools like Splunk, Application Monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Understanding of container orchestration software like Kubernetes and AWS EKS
  • Experienced with Site Reliability, Applicant Resiliency, Authentication and Authorization, FinOps management
  • Experienced in messaging systems like Kafka, MQ
  • Experience with React, Java, JavaScript
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile
  • Strong communicator and Quick learner: Able to communicate technical and non-technical information to the business and technical stakeholders
