Job Summary:The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting surgeons during procedures. This is a travel position, and you will have the opportunity to work in various locations and gain valuable experience.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are properly positioned and draped.
- Maintain a sterile environment by following proper protocols and procedures.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and providing support.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program for Surgical Technologist.
- CST (certification requirement directed by local facility).
- A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST and/or Associate or Bachelor's degree.
- Five (5) years' work experience is required if a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed.
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
