Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Atkore International. As a PVC Pipe Fabricator, you will be responsible for operating various machines and saws in the fabrication area.

About the Role:

• You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, quality, and production rates are maintained per set goals.
• Operate machinery in Fabrication, including pipe benders and saws.
• Maintain knowledge of safety procedures for each machine, E-Stops, pinch points, etc.
• Collaborate with Shift Leads to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Perform quality control checks on finished products throughout the run.
• Meet productivity standards, adhering to schedules and deadlines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of basic math concepts.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment and comfortable with multiple competing demands.
