Job Title: Music and Theater Educator

About Us: Building Kidz of Arizona is seeking a qualified Music and Theater Educator to join our team.

Job Summary: The Music and Theater Educator will be responsible for teaching music and theater classes to children, developing creative lesson plans, and collaborating with other team members to plan and produce recitals and musical productions.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Music and Theater: Teach music and theater classes to children, using the Building Kidz music Curriculum.
  • Develop Lesson Plans: Develop creative lesson plans for music and theater classes.
  • Collaborate with Team: Collaborate with other team members to plan and produce recitals and musical productions.
  • Communicate with Parents: Communicate with parents about student progress and class schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum 2-3 years formal training in music, dance, and theater.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in music and theater.
  • Skills: Ability to read music, arrange sheet music, and develop lesson plans.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: CPR/First Aid Certification, Level One AZ Fingerprint Card, and TB test.
  • Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and reliable car.
