• Excellent communication skills are required, with a willingness to engage directly with clients.


• Understanding of fundamental building codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI) is necessary.

Responsibilities


• Design structures using wood, steel, masonry, and concrete materials.


• Conduct and review design calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.


• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.


• Execute field investigations to assess project requirements.


• Collaborate with architects to ensure designs meet project timelines and specifications.


• Provide construction-related services, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to information requests, and conducting site observations.


• Work closely with architects, designers, and contractors throughout the design and construction phases.

This position encompasses a variety of building projects, including new constructions, renovations, and inspections. The successful candidate will be a self-driven professional capable of managing projects effectively from inception to completion.

Education and Experience


• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering.


• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
