Job Summary

As a Technical Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our high-speed manufacturing line, including unscrambler, filler, case former, case sealer, case packer, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a safety culture and awareness within your area at all times.
  • Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate the manufacturing line to meet or exceed all quality, scheduling, and customer requirements.
  • Perform machine set-up and changeovers, as well as line performance troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Perform product quality tests, including pH, viscosity, product inspection, weight control, cap torque, and finished product inspection.
  • Operate computer systems, including entering production information into the manufacturing system.
  • Set-up and operate check weigher, bottle coder, case coder, and/or inkjet coder as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement teams to identify and resolve areas of downtime.
  • Assist with the training and certification program as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in production line operation in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, shop math skills, and troubleshooting ability required.
