Music Instructor Opportunity

Are you passionate about music and teaching? Do you have a talent for sharing your knowledge with others? We are seeking a part-time Music Instructor to join our team at Metro Parks Tacoma.

About the Role

As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching music classes to students of all ages and skill levels. You will create engaging and interactive lessons that promote musical growth and development. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach music classes to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Create engaging and interactive lessons that promote musical growth and development
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Track attendance and progress of students
  • Communicate with staff and parents/guardians as needed
Requirements
  • At least 16 years of age
  • At least 1 year of related music experience
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification may be required
