Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team at Herc Rentals Inc. as an Equipment Transport Specialist. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting, delivering, and retrieving assorted construction and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Safely transport and deliver heavy equipment to various job sites and locations, adhering to strict time schedules and deadlines.
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate commercial and non-commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working condition, and report any issues or damage to the maintenance team.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Collaborate with our logistics team to coordinate transportation schedules, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Must possess a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience within the last three years.
  • Medical Card: Must hold a current medical card.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
