**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at BSC Administration LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various machinery and equipment to ensure a safe working environment throughout the plant.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Troubleshoot equipment defects using repair manuals, drawings, or manufacturers' specifications to determine the logical approach to correct the problem.
* Disassemble equipment to find and replace worn or damaged parts and reassemble.
* Prepare a parts list after determining which parts need to be replaced.
* Assist with relocation, installation, and alignment of machines and equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
* Mount motors, transformers, disconnects, and light fixtures according to diagram specifications.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

* Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals.
* Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goals.
* Complete and actively participate in all the company's Safety Skills training requirements.

**Position Requirements:**

* Requires a High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
* Ability to write simple correspondence as required.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Minimum 12 months related repair and maintenance experience.
* Ability to obtain Forklift certification.
* A combination of the above qualifications may also be considered.

**Physical/Mental Requirements:**

* Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time as the task dictates.
* Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a plant or warehouse.
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with occasional moving up to 100 pounds.
* Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
* Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand and mechanical tools.
* Must be able to safely mount and dismount from the back of a truck.
* Must be able to work at a fast pace.
* Must be able to tolerate changing priorities and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
* Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
* Must have a valid Driver License.
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

**Work Environment:**

Work environment is typically considered within a ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment is a manufacturing plant and warehouse containing equipment with moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
