Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a Surgical Nurse First Assistant to join our Main Operating Room team. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients undergoing surgery.
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
- Maintain and review patient records, including test results.
- Administer medications as per physician orders.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse or ARNP license. If you possess a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 60 days of hire. Candidates should be graduates of an accredited Surgical Assistant Program or possess equivalent qualifications.
Current Certified First Assistant (CFA) certification and experience in a surgical setting are essential. A valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
