About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development projects, you will design, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain software product applications. You will serve as a quality engineer on development projects, perform test strategy, test design, test planning, automation of various test frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  1. You will play a crucial role in EWS' overall effort to implement enterprise test automation strategies and methodology, focusing on continuous integration and delivery for our products.
  2. Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to develop technical and domain expertise and apply it to solve testing challenges across the teams.
  3. Research, implement, and improve testing tools and processes for our products and teams.
  4. Drive standardization and adoption of test automation technologies to maintain consistency across the company, enabling us to scale as we grow:
  • Automation tools and techniques
  • Quality practices and processes including test strategy, test case management, test data management, CI/CD, defect management, release management using agile methodologies.
Participate in design, code, and test case reviews, providing feedback to improve test coverage and the quality of our code and tests.Work with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure end-to-end integration testing is performed with appropriate test coverage.Analyze and monitor the continued quality of our products, finding ways to increase their quality.Supports the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position. Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  2. Minimum 10 years' experience developing software or test automation frameworks using two of the programming languages – Java, Ruby, Node.js, or Objective C. Java is preferred.
  3. Prior experience with established Software development and monitoring tools (GitLab, GIT, Eclipse/Android Studio/X-Code, Bamboo, Harness, Splunk, AppDynamics).
  4. Experience implementing test automation frameworks for API, web, or mobile platforms (hybrid, iOS, or Android) using any test automation tools– Appium, Selenium, Web driver, Rest-Assured API, and Cucumber.
  5. AWS or Cloud experience.
  6. Kubernetes.
  7. Background and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. REST Assured
  2. Experience in building and executing automated and performance tests for REST and XML/SOAP/JSON based services.
  3. Experience testing system/server level software, networking (sockets), and protocols: HTTP, SIP, Rest Services.
  4. Knowledge of Performance/Load Testing is a plus.
  5. Agile/Lean methodologies experience preferred.

  • A base pay range of $145,000 - $160,000 per year in Phoenix, AZ or $155,000 - $175,000 per year in San Francisco, CA.
