Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is a leading provider of facility cleaning services to long-term care facilities. We are currently seeking a Facility Cleaner and Sanitation Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

This role involves performing daily housekeeping tasks, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including resident room cleaning, bathroom sanitizing, and common area maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and universal precautions policies
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
  • Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not necessary
  • Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks daily
