  • Perform installations, repairs, and testing of fire alarm and special hazard systems.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move cylinders and equipment that can weigh up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to use ladders and lifts safely.
  • Repair fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting, testing, wiring, and replacement.
  • Generate inspection certificates and related paperwork accurately and legibly.
  • Develop positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide lists for fabrication and coordinate with other trades.
Requirements:
  • Field experience with at least 2-4 years of hands-on experience in fire alarm inspection and repair.
  • Current possession of a DOT HAZMAT endorsed driver's license.
  • Current possession of a NICET level I or II certification.
  • Current possession of a TWIC card.
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
  • Ability to travel throughout NJ as required.
