GIS Analyst

BETA Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst to join our team of geospatial professionals. As a key member of our GIS & asset management group, you will play a critical role in supporting our core services and delivering high-quality geospatial solutions to our clients.

• Geospatial Analysis: Perform advanced geospatial analyses using the ESRI suite of software to deliver impactful insights and support data-driven decision making.
• Data Editing and Management: Execute data editing tasks with guidance from experienced project managers and maintain accurate and up-to-date geospatial data.
• Web Application Development: Innovate and maintain dynamic ESRI-based web applications, including Dashboards, Experience Builder maps, Field Maps, and Survey123 forms.
• Cartographic Design: Assist in the creation and refinement of cartographic design elements and mapping projects, ensuring high-quality visual representations.
• Database Management: Design and enhance geographic database structures, tables, forms, and reports for optimized data management.
• Technical Support: Provide expert GIS-related technical support to both internal teams and external clients.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate seamlessly with office staff and project managers to ensure timely and quality project completion.
• Field Data Collection: Conduct field data collection and asset inspections for roadway, sidewalk, and utility assets, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data acquisition.

• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in GIS and geospatial analysis.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, geology, planning, engineering, or a related field.
• Skills: Expertise with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, proficiency in developing geodatabases and schemas, and strong technical aptitude and learning skills.
• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
