Position Overview:
As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, focusing on the nutritional needs of our residents. Your expertise will ensure that our residents receive the highest quality of care through effective clinical nutrition management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments.
2. Updating and maintaining patient care plans, including MDS documentation.
3. Ensuring compliance with Medicare PDPM guidelines to address all patient needs.
4. Documenting patient information accurately in our electronic medical record system.
5. Utilizing meal planning software to cater to individual dietary requirements.
6. Collaborating with culinary staff to optimize food service delivery.
7. Monitoring meal services and addressing any issues that arise.
8. Performing meal rounds to assess resident intake effectively.
9. Assisting in training sessions for food service staff as necessary.
10. Balancing nutritional care with dietary cost control measures.

Focus on Diet Liberalization:
We aim to empower our long-term care residents by promoting self-directed nutritional choices, utilizing regular diets, and emphasizing personal preferences.

Communication and Collaboration:
Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to relay nutritional recommendations and address any weight changes or dietary concerns. Ensure that residents and their representatives are informed of any changes in dietary orders or weight status.

Qualifications:
- A valid Dietitian License in good standing in Ohio.
- Strong time management skills.
- Dependable attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork across disciplines.
