Job Title: Pharmacist in Charge - Inpatient Pharmacy Management

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist in Charge to lead our inpatient pharmacy team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc.


  2. Develop and implement effective management controls to ensure the efficient delivery of quality services by the pharmacy department.
  3. Assist employees in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating functions, activities, and costs within the department.
  4. Prepare and dispense medication, assess clinical status of patients, and provide drug information to the medical team.
  5. Educate patients and provide excellent customer service.


Requirements:


  • Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure.
  • One (1) of the following: ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency, ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice plus one (1) year pharmacist experience, two (2) years pharmacist experience, or one (1) year leadership experience plus one (1) year pharmacist experience.
  • Six (6) months experience in an interim SHS Pharmacy Supervisor or above role may be substituted for the one (1) year of leadership experience.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Leadership experience.
  • Infusion and rural hospital experience.
