Job Summary:

Serve as a clinical leader in Temple University Hospital's cardiovascular department, overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse with strong communication and leadership skills.

About the Position:

The Clinical Nurse Manager 5S-Cardiac Neuro will work closely with the Nursing Unit Director to manage the unit's administrative and clinical activities. They will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive quality care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of excellence within the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nursing Unit Director in managing daily operations, including staff management, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring alignment with hospital policies and procedures
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff, promoting professional development and advancing career growth
  • Foster a culture of safety, respect, and open communication among team members, encouraging feedback and suggestions for improvement
  • Promote evidence-based practice, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cardiac neuro nursing, with a focus on leadership and management
  • BLS Certification (if applicable)
  • ACLS Certification (if applicable)
  • Perianesthesia Nursing Certification
  • PA Registered Nurse License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
