This Membership Clerk position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Costco members, processing transactions, and managing inventory. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will possess excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Process member sign-ups, renewals, and added cards
  • Instruct members and potential members about membership, warehouse, and credit programs
  • Assist members regarding item availability and issue replacement and temporary cards
  • Key credit applications and process merchandise returns
  • Document customer adjustments and meet with current and prospective members to increase membership sign-ups and warehouse sales

Qualifications

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in customer service or a related field. A background in business or a related field is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $45,000 - $65,000, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, health benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
