We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer I to join our team at Oriental Trading Company. As a Security Officer I, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure corporate environment by enforcing access control and safety/security related policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce access control and maintain a secure environment by patrolling company facilities and responding to emergency situations.
- Provide personalized customer service of the highest level while maintaining all customer information confidential.
- Complete daily written reports of shift activities and provide regular updates to the Security Shift Supervisor.
- Abide by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
- Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors, and must be able to attend face-to-face meetings on short or little advance notice.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous security-related experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and make decisions, prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities, and possess good discretionary ability.
- Must be able to walk frequently, use elevators, and climb open grate stairways, and lift 50 lbs.
- A valid driver's license and driving record in accordance with OTC standards is required for operation of company vehicles.
