This is an ongoing opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures, assembling supplies and equipment as needed.
- Assist with counting procedures, maintaining an organized sterile field, and ensuring sterility of the field.
- Prepare sterile dressings, clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing, and transport them to decontamination areas.
- Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities, precepting staff to surgical technician job duties.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to I.C.A.R.E. standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Surgical Technician Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
