We are seeking Seasonal Workers for our Fall Leaf Pickup Program in Cuyahoga Falls to collect fallen leaves from City properties and residential curbs, creating clean and safe neighborhood streets in preparation for the winter season.
The program runs for 6 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 3:00pm. You will be compensated at a rate of $15.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour if you hold a valid CDL. A $150 bonus opportunity is also available.
Responsibilities include walking and riding to pick up fallen leaves on City property and piled leaves in neighborhoods. You will use hand tools and mechanical equipment to rake, sweep, and pick up leaves and debris, while maintaining a pleasant demeanor when interacting with the public. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements include the ability to work in all weather conditions, including cold or wet conditions. You must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, pulling, etc., up to 60lbs. A valid driver's license is preferred, but not required. Previous experience working in an outdoor environment is also desirable.
