About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores. As a Diesel Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Assist customers with roadside services, including fuel delivery and tire changes
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to resolve complex issues and improve overall fleet performance
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
