Job Details
1st Shift
Starting Pay: $20.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
Ride with a company driver delivering products along assigned routes each day.
Make between 12 and 15 stops/deliveries per day.
Unload customer product orders per shipping paperwork.
Assist driver in paperwork and customer inquiries.
Perform quality control tasks: visually inspect cartons, PVC, and glass for imperfections, and place rejects in specified areas.
Make judgments and decisions, deal with people, perform effectively under stress, and work under specific instructions.
Perform repetitive or short-cycle work.
Qualifications
Ability to visually perceive scratches, irregularities, or other imperfections in materials.
Comprehension of written instructions, measurements, or coding spelled out on shipping paperwork/tags.
Ability to accurately complete essential job functions in a dynamic environment.
Ability to read, write, and speak simple English.
Must be able to read production tags, shipping paperwork, safety warning labels, and signs, and verbally communicate with coworkers, leads, and supervisors regarding the delivery process and safety information.
