Job Summary

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel contract position in Washington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to areas of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
