We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Avera St. Luke's Hospital. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The LPN is responsible for assisting the registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This includes providing direct patient care, administering medications, and performing various nursing tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Assist registered nurses in assessing, planning, and implementing patient care
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing various nursing tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of South Dakota with an expanded role LPN. Previous hospital experience, critical care experience, and good communication skills are preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires a Monday-Friday schedule with 72 hours worked every 2 weeks. The shift hours are 7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, with every 3rd weekend and holiday worked.

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $22.75 - $31.50 per hour, depending on experience.
