CAD Technician

Boundary Zone, Inc. is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team in Suwanee, GA. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Land Surveying department with plot plat drafting, grading plan design, and construction calculations.

• Produce drawings and plan sets using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Civil Suite.
• Prepare conceptual plans, plats, permit sets, bid documents, and other work products as required by the project scope.
• Coordinate between various sheets and disciplines of a plan set, ensuring neat and legible drafting, line weight control, and adherence to current National CAD and Surveying Standards.
• Help identify and develop sound solutions for the design of commercial, residential, and land development projects.
• Produce various drawings specific to the project, including soil erosion plans, site layout, grading, storm sewer, water, and sanitary sewer plans.

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in production drafting of land surveying projects
• Working knowledge of CAD drafting skills and terminology
• Willingness to learn

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Planning, Land Surveying, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive work experience in production drafting of land surveying projects
