At Bio-Rad Laboratories, we are seeking a meticulous individual to become part of our team as a Production Technician. In this position, you will engage in a range of responsibilities including the receipt and verification of materials, calibration of equipment, operation of machinery, application of labels, assembly of components, and more. Your role will involve physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, lifting items, and occasionally moving items weighing up to 50 lbs. You will also be required to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, accurately complete necessary documentation, ensure proper waste disposal, and maintain inventory in your work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all policies and procedures associated with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP/Quality Systems)
- Conduct inspections of products utilizing various inspection methods
- Accurately complete documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Operate machinery to transport materials as directed
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a 5S environment
- Manage inventory within work areas
- Keep the Lead informed of any unusual production issues
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Work Experience: 0-3 years
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions
- Basic math, problem-solving, and computer skills
- Experience with both manual and automated production machinery is preferred
- Team-oriented, adaptable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
Compensation: The estimated hourly wage for this role ranges from $20.00 to $23.00. Actual compensation will be communicated in writing at the time of the offer and will depend on various factors including geographic location, experience, knowledge, and skills.
