Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Filler Operator III to join our team at the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by completing the approved training matrix and on-the-job training conducted by the Filler Operator I.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Machine Operation: Operate hot pouch forming and filling machines, monitoring and tracking fill weights, temperatures, and pouch codes.
  2. Quality Control: Ensure quality of products by following approved procedures and performing regular quality checks.
  3. Training and Development: Participate in on-the-job training and training matrix completion to enhance skills and knowledge.
  4. Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on product handling machinery and follow approved procedures to enhance the filling operation.
  5. Documentation: Complete start-up sheets for all products and ensure accuracy.
  6. Cleaning and Sanitation: Monitor and perform CIP/COP/GMPs of filling room and associated areas.
  7. Material Handling: Change 150 lb. film rolls while eliminating waste of film using a forklift and lift car (safely).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be willing to move between shifts to evaluate effectiveness of training and that procedures are followed.
