As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Teach patients and their families about health information, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their care.
- Perform direct patient care, adhering to established procedures, policies, and standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members, demonstrating empathy and respect.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient care, taking direction and initiating actions as needed.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, taking appropriate actions in response to questionable findings or concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate Degree or Diploma.
- One year of relevant experience, with graduates accepted based on position availability.
- Current New Mexico License and BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
