About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Parkridge East Hospital. As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our laboratory department, ensuring that we provide high-quality patient care and meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise laboratory personnel, processes, and service levels to achieve organizational and regulatory goals.
- Oversee functional areas of responsibility, including technical discipline areas, specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
- Perform technical and non-technical duties as required to achieve department goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a healthy work environment.
Requirements
- Current State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Supervisor General License required.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Licensure in 3 technical specialty areas preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs.

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge, providing a full range of medical and surgical services, including orthopedics and robotic surgery. Our 24/7 Emergency Department is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. We also offer obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures, as well as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
