Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform legal research and provide analysis on various legal matters
  • Prepare legal documents such as agreements, briefs, and motions
  • Advocate for clients in court and during negotiations
  • Liaise with clients, opposing attorneys, and other stakeholders in legal cases
  • Support senior legal professionals with case management and trial preparations
  • Keep informed about applicable laws and regulations
  • Work collaboratively with team members to formulate legal strategies and solutions
  • Ensure accurate and organized maintenance of case files and documentation
  • Uphold ethical standards and professional conduct codes

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized law institution
  • Eligibility for state bar admission (or intent to pursue admission)
  • Strong academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Proficient research, writing, and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively
  • Keen attention to detail and effective time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and software
  • Prior experience in a legal environment (internship, clerkship, etc.) is advantageous
