We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our nursing services team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs and practices to ensure safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families
- Ensure consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality of nursing care
- Oversee performance of teams and identify staff training and development needs
- Provide strategic guidance to medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing service and strategies
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership experience
- Minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience in General Surgery
- Strong understanding of leadership, strategic management, professional development, change management, communications, team building, continuous quality improvement, problem solving, decision making, innovation, financial management of operations, and stewardship of resources
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master's degree in a related field strongly preferred
- Maintain BLS (American Heart Association) certification; maintain ACLS/PALS and TNCC if trauma designated
- De-escalation training required within 90 days of hire/transfer date
- Prefer national certification and/or professional organization membership
