Nurse Practitioner

To provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals or groups of patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough admission assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient information, interventions, and outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
- Reassess patients regularly to ensure optimal care and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote a positive work environment.
- Apply the 5 Rights of Medication Administration and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety risks, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and significant others.
- Delegate tasks effectively and supervise the delivery of nursing care.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality improvement.
- Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Current licensure to practice in the State of Connecticut.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR), Labor & Delivery - NRP, ACLS, EFM certifications.
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar role.
This role requires manual dexterity, significant occupational risk, and exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste.
CredentialsENPC, RN, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.
