Pharmaceutical Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Chi St. Luke's Memorial, providing quality innovative healthcare in East Texas. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy, ensuring distributive functions are completed safely and efficiently while maintaining regulatory compliance.
This role is responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to meet patient needs, supporting the mission of the Department of Pharmacy, Hospital, and Health System.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, based on industry standards and market conditions in the region.
About the RoleA Clinical Pharmacist at Chi St. Luke's Memorial will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care.
- Providing clinical pharmacy services to meet patient needs, including protocol/guideline management and individualized drug therapies.
- Serving as a role model for pharmacy residents, fellows, and students, creating and contributing to ongoing education and development of pharmacy personnel and other healthcare practitioners.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D) degree from a Board-approved, ACPE-accredited College of pharmacy program.
- Licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of Texas through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an approved AHA program.
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- Two (2) years of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in an acute care setting.
- A Master's Degree in business administration or a similar field of study.
- Completion of a pharmacy administration residency or a pharmacy (PGY-1) residency.
