Job Title: Occupational Therapist

OT Job Details:
- Duration: A full-time position is available from January 2024 to June 2025.
- Hours: The job requires 40 hours of work per week.
- Caseload: You will be working with students in grades K-12th.
- Salary: $40+ per hour, which translates to approximately $1,900-$2,300 weekly (before tax-free housing/meal stipends).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care abilities, and other areas related to occupational performance.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, IEP objectives, and input from parents, teachers, and other team members.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration activities, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications.
- Collaborate with educators, speech therapists, physical therapists, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans.
- Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate findings to the IEP team and parents.
Required Qualifications:
- Mastery of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
- A Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy or a Bachelor's degree for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- An active State Occupational Therapy License.
- Experience working with children or adolescents is preferred but not required.
- A background check will be conducted prior to employment.
