Join Tatitlek Federal Services, Inc (TFSI) as a Clinical Laboratory Senior Scientist and contribute to the success of our team
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Senior Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory, ensuring the quality and accuracy of test results, and providing guidance and support to laboratory staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory, ensuring the quality and accuracy of test results.
- Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure the laboratory meets regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to laboratory staff, including training and education on new test methodologies and equipment.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve technical problems and ensure that remedial actions are taken when test systems deviate from established performance specifications.
- Verify the competency of laboratory staff and ensure that they maintain their competency to perform test procedures and report test results promptly, accurately, and proficiently.
- Meet one of the following options: Option 1, Option 2, Option 3, Option 4, Option 5, or Option 6.
- Be certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or other board of registry deemed comparable by CCML as a medical technologist (MT) or medical laboratory scientist (MLS).
The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
Additional Qualifying Factors:Must have a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references, and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTI are required.
