Job Title: Licensed Nutritionist

Wayside Recovery Center is seeking a Licensed Nutritionist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide client-focused care by assisting clients with providing education on nutrition and health topics within their scope of practice in collaboration with the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete general intake forms, including vital signs, and record in client records.
  • Collaborate with clients on completing admission documentation and coordination with providers.
  • Provide educational presentations on nutrition and health topics.
  • Review and consult on client's nutrition and dietary requirements.
  • Coordinate with external providers regarding client needs, including scheduling appointments, obtaining ROI, and faxing documents.
  • Observe clients and document changes in their conditions that may require follow-up and report to nursing or provider as needed.
  • Scan all documents relating to client charts regarding health appointments, medication changes, and MAT paperwork.
  • Ensure all clients have resource information regarding health and nutritional needs.
  • Complete chart documentation.
  • Uphold all health and safety standards.
  • Support with scanning and documenting medical records to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Communicate with nursing staff regarding client concerns.
  • Provide education on health and nutrition for staff and clients, and develop resources to utilize.
Requirements:
  • Must be licensed in good standing as a Dietitian in the state of Minnesota.
  • Must obtain and maintain required continuing education units and training.
