Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician II to join our team at Pentair Management Company. As a Quality Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by performing quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports related to testing, troubleshooting, and other assigned activities
  • Monitor PPM of suppliers and alert the DQE of non-normal or pre-defined out of control process shifts in data
  • Initiate Supplier or Internal Corrective Action Reports
  • Execute disposition activities, such as coordination with Supply Chain, Purchasing, and supplier, RMA/RGA# information for preparation of returning materials, movement of materials from non-Conforming area to Operation for scrapping or returning material to production
  • Complete Quality Engineering Supportive document control activities, including maintaining lower levels of QA process documentation, internal to the department
  • File quality records (Material Certifications, Inspection reports, Control Plan)
  • Initiate Product Change Order (PCO) documentation and provide information to DQE on changes requested
  • Perform other support activities as needed, with brief instructions from DQE
Requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all Range 1 activities, including Calibration, Control Plan Compliance, PPAP support, Drawing/specification understanding, Performance of Gage R & R experiments
  • Ability to perform with Non-Conforming Materials Procedure duties, including Initiation of Supplier or Internal Corrective Action Reports, Monitor PPM of suppliers, and Execute disposition activities
  • Ability to complete Quality Engineering Supportive document control activities, including maintaining lower levels of QA process documentation, internal to the department
  • Ability to file quality records, initiate Product Change Order (PCO) documentation, and perform other support activities as needed
Working Conditions

The Quality Technician II will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs. Steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.
