Key Responsibilities
- Embrace the educational philosophy of Cadence Education while collaborating with fellow educators to cultivate a positive learning atmosphere.
- Document and communicate significant milestones in each child's daily experience to their families.
- Work alongside other dedicated preschool educators to deliver an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Observe and respect children's interests, ensuring their safety while enhancing their play through language, toys, and activities.
- Model and encourage appropriate social behaviors in line with developmental expectations.
- Contribute ideas for a balanced daily schedule that includes a variety of activities: quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor skills, etc.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Compliance with all state requirements for preschool lead teachers.
- Prior experience as an Infant educator.
- Flexibility and willingness to work within operational hours.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a college degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience as a preschool lead teacher is essential.
- Preferred skills in classroom management.
