We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiation therapy equipment and deliver radiation to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Graduate from an accredited university or hospital Radiation Therapy program.
- AART and CMRT certification required.
- CPR "C" certification required.
- Registered Radiation Therapist or registry eligible (taking boards on first available date following hire).
- Working knowledge of treatment machines, simulators, mold room equipment, and simple treatment calculations.
