Position Overview

As a Travel Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the communication abilities of patients across various settings. Your expertise will be essential in providing tailored therapy to individuals facing challenges in speech, language, and cognitive functions.

Certification Requirements
  • Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License: Must hold a current, unencumbered license.
  • Clinical Compliance: Certificate from the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association or active participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required.
Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Work within the Rehabilitation Department to assess and treat patients with various conditions affecting their self-care and mobility.
  • Provide comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic interventions for patients with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive difficulties.
  • Engage with both adult and pediatric populations, addressing a diverse range of diagnoses in acute and outpatient environments.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring continuity of care from initial assessment through to discharge.
Travel Requirements

This position necessitates travel to multiple care locations, ensuring that you can deliver high-quality therapy where it is needed most.

Additional Qualifications
  • BLS Certification: Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification is required.
